As part of this week’s topic – Healthy Food, we started looking at what food is best for us and in what quantities. We found out that all food is good for us as long as we eat a balanced diet, eating the healthy food to keep our bodies healthy. We saw that we also need some ‘unhealthy food’ from time to time – such as chocolate or oily food. The Food Pyramid helped us see which type of food give us energy, vitamins, proteins, fats. Each group is important but on the pyramid we saw what percentage of each group we need to eat everyday. More on this sub topic in the coming days.
