Visiting ‘houses’ in Gozo

This is a post sent by Francesca on her visit to Gozo.

Ta’Kola Windmill found in Xaghra, Gozo.  It is a very interesting place to visit.  Downstairs one finds all the tools used for the mill and upstairs, the living quarters.  Fran was fascinated by the simple old furniture, especially the hammock hanging on mummy’s and daddy’s bed and the kitchen without a cooker and fridge, and the fact that there were no water, electricity or toilets in the house.

While in Gozo, Francesca visited Ta Kola farmhouse and the Ggantija temples and decided to share her experience with us.  Many thanks Francesca for this thought.  I hope it will be an inspiration to others to post about places they visit or interesting things that happen to them.
